In the region south of Munich, at the foot of the Northern Limestone Alps, a place where other people go on holiday, we develop and manufacture in our family run company high quality measuring technology for research, industry, environmental protection, building renovation and much more. The bigger part of the electronics production takes place in our branch in Ilmenau in Thuringia. The company is equipped with state-of-the-art production technology. All products of AHLBORN Mess- und Regelungstechnik GmbH carry the label "made in Germany.

Every employee is well educated and motivated. The basic requirement is a high level of individual responsibility and a pleasant working atmosphere with a social structure. Every employee of AHLBORN Mess- und Regelungstechnik GmbH receives a participating share in the company's profits.

Since more than 20 years we use intelligent connecting plugs for sensors. This means that one single measurement instrument is able to operate completely different applications – just the sensor needs to be exchanged. By doing so, no extensive programming is necessary. The measurement operation can start right after connecting the respective sensor.

For being able to offer a close to complete calibration range for all measured quantities that can be acquired by the ALMEMO® measuring technology, we maintain a calibration laboratory. Concerning the measured quantities air temperature and humidity, we are accredited according to standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
