The ARL QUANT'X Energy-Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer allows users to quickly and easily collect composition data from almost any type of sample. It measures a variety of materials, including bulk solids, granules, weak or crushed powders, fused beads, thin films, pastes, and liquids, for major, minor, and trace element counts.

Its close-coupled optics, tiny size, and advanced electrically cooled detectors allow for unparalleled analytical precision over a wide range of elemental concentrations, from ppm to %.
The ARL QUANT'X EDXRF is now even more powerful. The QUANT’X, which is equipped with the latest generation of high-efficiency SDD detectors, can handle high-count rates at excellent resolutions and delivers better performance from light to heavy elements.
Acorss the entire periodic table, the ARL QUANT'X increases accuracy and recognition limitations by a factor of two. The average counting time can also be optionally decreased by a factor of four, dramatically increasing sample throughput.
The SDD500G detector incorporates the latest advancements in detection technology, significantly enhancing the performance of the ARL QUANT’X spectrometer. It increases sensitivity for light elements such as fluorine and broadens the analytical range to include carbon.
