Azure Power is a leading independent sustainable energy solutions provider, and power producer in India. We build and operate some of the largest grid-scale renewable energy projects in the country, and supply the generated power to government utilities, and independent industrial & commercial customers on long-term fixed price contracts.

We developed India’s first private utility scale solar project in 2009. Since then, Azure Power has grown rapidly to become the leader in developing and operating renewable power plants in India. We have a pan-India portfolio of over 7.4 GWs*, with over 2.9 GWs of operational capacity and ~4.5 GWs of capacity under construction and in the pipeline. Our 600 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan is the largest owned and operated single site solar power project by any developer in India. By entering the market first and growing in-line with the broader Indian renewable energy opportunities, we have developed significant operational expertise and regional knowledge, which has allowed us to achieve an unmatched track record of delivering high quality projects.
