Founded in 2009 by licensing technology from UCLA, BBI leverages the groundbreaking research being done at the UCLA Wireless Health Institute, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA School of Nursing, and the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Our pipeline is comprised of solutions for wound care, orthopedic care and real-time data capture, analytics and reporting. Leveraging BBI's passive sensor technology, our portable devices produce actionable data for evidence-based assessments.
