Teledyne has now released the Bumblebee^® X, a new industrial stereo camera, and Spinnaker^® 3D, a software that provides a complete solution with onboard processing to create effective systems for logistics, robotics guidance, and warehouse automation.

Bumblebee X meets the fundamental requirement for a complete and real-time stereo vision solution. With the wide baseline solution, customers can test and implement depth sensing systems that operate up to 20 m away. Pick-and-place, bin picking, palletization, automated guided vehicles, and autonomous mobile robots are just a few of the real-time applications that benefit significantly from their low latency.

24 cm baseline stereo vision with 3 MP sensors that have been factory-calibrated for real-time applications requiring high accuracy and low latency

IP67 industrial-grade vision system with color and monochrome ordering options, various field-of-views, and 1 GigE or 5 GigE PoE

Onboard processing generates a depth map and color data for point cloud conversion and colorization

Capability to activate an external pattern projector and synchronize multiple systems for more precise 3D depth information

Software library with articles, example code, and support for Windows, Linux, and the Robotics Operating System
