Since its birth more than 40 years ago, Compact Instruments has distinguished itself in the market place through its unique expertise in design and manufacturing of speed measurement equipment.

Compact Instruments are designers and manufacturers of Intrinsically Safe handheld tachometers, passed to ATEX standards and certified accordingly. We have been manufacturing these instruments since September 2001 and have sold thousands worldwide. Currently, these instruments have, and are being re-certified under new stricter conditions set down by the relative governing bodies and standards agencies.

With an emphasis on high quality product design, combined with a low-cost base, Compact Instruments has marketed high quality tachometers and speed measurement products for over 40 years. A range of compatible products enhance its capability and services to customers worldwide across a range of industries.

Compact Instruments provides a calibration and re-calibration service. Clients are issued with an In-house certificate, traceable to national standards with calibration values at 5 points. All of our calibration equipment is calibrated by UKAS accredited test companies and is cross checked regularly.
