Manufacturing

With 260,000 square feet of manufacturing space, Delta Scientific's manufacturing facility is able meet the increased requirements and demands of its continually growing domestic and international customer base. Delta has capacity to quickly ramp up and accommodate large projects with demanding lead times. Flexibility is a key ingredient for Delta Scientific manufacturing model. With over 50 different barrier models built in house, Delta’s experienced team of fabricators and welders can handle any job.

Engineering

Delta prides itself on innovation and its engineering department leads the way. With both mechanical and electrical engineers on staff, Delta is able to aggressively pursue custom projects and new technology. Interfacing closely with architects and engineers of all trades, Delta ensures the feasibility of each product application. Reliability and sustainability are two key components of our barriers. New products are constantly emerging from the collaborative works of Delta Scientific’s engineering teams as they meet the ever-changing landscape of the barrier industry. Whether it’s new touch screen controls or a new barrier design, Delta is at the forefront, continuing to lead the industry.

Delta has supplied counter-terrorist barricade systems to dozens of embassies and consulates in 130-plus countries. In the United States alone, Delta has secured over 110 Federal buildings, including courthouses and FBI locations. Over 85 percent of all U.S. nuclear power plants are protected by Delta vehicle barricade systems.

Delta Scientific systems also protect the U.S. Capitol, D.C. landmarks, parliament buildings throughout the world, corporate facilities, power and water infrastructure facilities, and European castles.
