Precision folding-cup anemometers are omni-directional with a clever feature: the cups collapse upward for compact storage. The very capable digital DIC-3 provides not only instantaneous velocity, but also highest gust since reset, and average speed over a 2- or 5-minute period. It has four selectable scales: mph, knots, kph, or meters/sec. A 9V bettery (not included) powers the LCD display for up to 70 hours of continuous use. Range: 0-125mph. 2"W x 2"D x 6"H, with 5 3/4" dia. cup assembly. Carry case included.

The BTC needs no battery, being self-powered. It registers 0-35 mph or 0-70 mph (also scaled 0-30 knots and 0-60 knots) with its jeweled meter movement. you select low or high range with a button. 1 5/8"D x 2"W x 3 3/4"H, with 5 3/4" dia. cup assembly. Carry case included
