Dr Robot was founded in 2001 by a group of scientists and engineers who had previously designed robotic systems for various space agencies.

Our goal is to provide cost-effective, high performance robots for industrial, commercial and academic end-users alike. Since its beginnings, Dr Robot has pioneered research in dynamic bipedal robotics and autonomous navigation. We have designed robots for a variety of applications and for a broad range of clients. Backed by venture funding, Dr Robot is a privately held corporation based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.
