Draw-wire displacement sensors from Micro-Epsilon are designed to measure linear movements using a very flexible steel cable and are used for position and distance measurements of 50 mm up to 50,000 mm. The wireSENSOR versionsare unique because of an ideal measuring range/size ratio as well as easy fitting and handling. The sturdy sensor construction guarantees dependable operation even under difficult ambient environments.
Micro-Epsilon’s draw-wire sensors are suitable for integration and subsequent assembly in high volume OEM applications, for instance, in medical devices, conveyors, lifts, and automotive engineering. A variety of sensor designs range from easy economical models to very robust designs for industrial applications.

Draw-Wire Sensors for High Speed Measurements
Miniature MP and MT draw-wire sensors are designed for measurement tasks with fast wire movements. Their robust aluminum housing makes the sensors suitable for industrial applications. The MP and MT draw-wire sensors are equipped with a potentiometer.
Draw-Wire Sensors for Integration andOEM
MK series miniature draw-wire sensors are specially designed for high volume serial applications. The user benefits from a low price and compact sensor dimensions, therefore gaining new potential in design and cost optimization. As well as analog versions with potentiometer, current or voltage output, digital versions with incremental or absolute encoders are available.
Industrial Draw-Wire Sensors for Long-Life operation
Draw-wire sensors of the P series are designed for industrial measurement tasks. A compact and robust aluminum housing protects the sensor from mechanical damage. As well as analog versions with potentiometer, current or voltage output, digital versions with incremental or absolute encoders are available, providing measuring ranges up to 50m.
