The company is privately owned, and is dedicated to investing in the local community. We are committed to British manufacturing, over 80% of our instrumentation is made and supplied from our Dominion Way and Riverside sites in Worthing.

Miriam and Peter Webb founded the company in 1983, when they identified an opportunity in the manufacturing market for the production of digital thermometers and temperature measuring probes.

Electronic Temperatures Instruments Ltd. is proud to have one of the most technically advanced commercial temperature calibration laboratories in the UK. ETI’s in-house UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) calibration laboratory has the ability to measure temperature to 0.0001 °C.
