For our project in Point Tupper, Nova Scotia, we are converting the Point Tupper Fuel Storage facility into a green hydrogen and green ammonia production facility. This project will help develop Nova Scotia’s green economy and demonstrate the regions leadership, while making strides toward a more sustainable future with the support of both government and community.

Our green hydrogen and ammonia will meet the European Commissions strict emissions, power source criteria for Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO). The EU certified Renewable Fuels from a Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO) designation requires that fuels must be produced using renewable energy and achieve a greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) intensity reduction of 70 percent. EverWind’scustomers require RFNBO-compliant fuelsand as such production will be audited by a third-party firm to be certified as green.
