We are an Australian company pioneering environmental technology. We offer solutions and services to heavy industry through our unique treatment and recycling of industrial waste residues. Using hydrometallurgical technologies developed in-house over the past 13 years, we focus on recovering and recycling contaminant metals from waste residues to produce value added metal chemicals for on sale to agricultural, mining and industrial applications.

This service provides an environmentally acceptable alternative to long-term storage or disposal to increasingly limited landfill, and at the same time produces a valuable end product sold to Australian and overseas industry. The end product of the treatment process is a metal chemical. This often replaces similar imported product to the obvious benefit of the Australian economy.

HydroMet's mission is to provide solutions to difficult residue handling problems with the added environmental benefit of a valuable recovery and recycling route for otherwise unwanted and unrecoverable compounds.

We have been able to provide a number of significant tailor-made processing solutions for our clients where alternatives did not previously exist. These solutions have resulted in the waste being eliminated and the client relieved of extensive and costly waste management liabilities associated with the only other alternative, i.e. long-term storage.
