For applications that demand superior performance, look to the Sapphire EV76C541. This cutting-edge device is a wide-VGA format CMOS image sensor, and a viable candidate to replace traditional industrial CCD sensors.

Thanks to the novel pixel design, the sensor gives excellent performance in low-light conditions with an electronic global shutter, and has a rapid readout speed at a minimum 125 fps in full resolution.

It can be used for battery powered applications, such as handheld barcode scanners, due to its minimal power consumption. Also embedded on the chip are innovative industrial machine vision application features such as multi ROI and 3D range gating.
