The privately owned company of InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik has its headquarters in Dresden, Germany and was founded in 1991. Today, it is a fully integrated company with its own departments of development, manufacturing, distribution and service, employing about 200 highly-qualified specialists. The brand InfraTec® stands for the array of services and products offered, focusing on sensor technology and infrared measurement. Since the beginning, both business divisions, sensors and infrared measurement technology, focused on state-of-the-art sensor components and measurement systems – in particular for an approximate infrared wavelength range of 2 to 14 µm.

With its Infrared Measurement business unit, InfraTec is one of the leading suppliers of commercial thermal imaging technology. In addition to the high-end camera series ImageIR® and the VarioCAM® High Definition series, InfraTec offers turnkey thermographic automation solutions.

Spectrally single and multi channel infrared detectors, next to infrared sensors with electrically tunable filters based on MOEMS, count among the products of the infrared sensor division. These detectors can be used in gas analysis, fire and flame sensor technology and spectroscopy.
