HISTORY

Intermatic was founded in 1891. We’re good at what we do and we never stop working towards perfecting our products. Customer needs and market demands have driven the company’s evolution from its inception.

The Grässlin division, founded in St. Georgen, Germany in 1956, shares a history of quality and innovation. Acquired by Intermatic in 2007, it contributes its internationally successful products, including time switch technology, light and temperature controls, and tariff time switches, to the company portfolio.
