JR3 is a worldwide leader in the field of multi-axis force-torque measurement. We design and manufacture a large variety of multi-axis force-torque sensors and support electronics, collectively referred to as multi-axis load cell technologies. JR3's primary focus is our line of six degree-of-freedom (6dof) force-torque sensors which simultaneously measure force and torque along and about three orthogonal axes. JR3 also offers a line of unique-to-the- industry 12dof sensors which measure linear and angular accelerations along with force and torque.
The JR3 multi-axis load cell, also commonly known as a 6 degree-of-freedom force-torque sensor is a cylindricallly shaped monothithic aluminum device (optionally stainless steel or titanium) containing analog and digital electronics systems. JR3 sensors are produced in a wide variety of load ratings and bolt patterns. The physical size of the sensor varies depending on factors such as force and torque ratings and required mounting dimensions.
