The Piezoresistive OEM Pressure Transmitters are capable of combining a piezoresistive pressure sensor with -40…150 °C-capable signal conditioning in a single package.
Chip-In-Oil (CIO) technology is used for completely embedding the pressure transmitter into a hermetically-sealed, oil-filled housing, and can also be seamlessly integrated into the OEM product, thus saving cost and ensuring better performance.
It comprises a ratiometric analog output which helps in simplifying the task of integrators by supplying a signal output, thus avoiding the need of incorporating an expensive, absolute reference. A 5 VDC supply provides 0.5…4.5 VDC output. This helps in protecting the LC-transmitter against overvoltage and reverse polarity up to ±33 VDC.
Key Features
The key features of the Piezoresistive OEM Pressure Transmitters are:
External electronics are not required for compensation or signal processing.
It has an operating temperature of about 150°C.
Ultra-compact, robust housing is manufactured from stainless steel.
It can be easily integrated into overall systems.
Hermetically protected sensor electronics.
Two-chip solution with pressure sensor and signal processing separation provides a high degree of flexibility.
