Kimre – Clean Air Technology

Kimre, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells a line of technically sophisticated gas-cleaning and filtration products that are used primarily for air-pollution control, water pollution control, and in the chemical processing industry. Kimre™ products are in use worldwide. They are sold directly, as well as through representatives, and through licensees to a growing customer base. In the U.S., this includes most Fortune 500 companies, almost all U.S. chemical manufacturers, and all U.S. fertilizer producers. Over half of Kimre™ sales result from repeat orders by this established growing customer base, and from new applications for current customers.

Kimre™ products utilize an interlaced “pyramid” structure of thermo-plastic monofilments. This unique structure achieves maximum droplet and particulate removal with low pluggage when gases or liquids flow through it. It thereby achieves “filtrations” of extremely low-diameter droplets with an extremely low pressure drop across the Kimre™ product. As a result, Kimre's products are used for a large and growing number of applications in the U.S. and overseas, created in part by increasingly stringent pollution control standards here and abroad. Kimre™ materials are far more efficient and cost-effective than are those of competitors due to its product structure.

Since the establishment of the Fiber Bed Manufacturing facilities, Kimre has the capacity to supply a much more complete line of products. The combination of Kimre™ mesh with Fiber Beds provides a unique capacity for the industry using Fiber Beds especially considering that we have long supplied cylindrical forms made of 100% Kimre™ media.
