Martechnic has one of the largest ports and its inhabitants, the "Gateway to the World" called. AHHOI water sensor system (Automatic H2O Online) is a development by Martechnic using the IR principle to detect water in lubricants of different nature and application. It measures water content up to 1.0 vol% (10,000 ppm) and operates on a bypass system.

The system has to be connected to the oil system of the machinery with a max. pressure range between 3 to 10 bar. The sensor of the system is protected by an inbuilt oil filter and should be operated at a constant pressure of 1 bar which is managed by a constant pressure reducing valve.
