North American Machine Works

North American Machine Works provides industrial services and equipment repair for all types of valves, pumps, turbines, compressors, gearboxes and more. We also distribute the products such as safety relief valves, butterfly valves, wireless sensors and monitors, buckling pin relief devices, explosion venting, industrial explosion systems, flame and detonation arresters, conservation vents, liquid level gauges, steam level gauges, magnetic level gauges, probes and illuminators.

The company began in 1972 as North American Valve & Lapping and was initially involved in repairing compressor valves, a service that we still provide. By 1980, we expanded our activities to other industrial equipment and had begun developing relationships with manufacturers as their authorized representative and repair facility; while growing in capabilities as a proud robust machine shop. In 1984, North American Engineering was created to provide on-site services. In 1995, Alliance-North American was created as a “VR” certified pressure relief valve repair facility, distributor, and manufacturers’ representative.

In 2004 we added Farris Engineering and Quest-Tec Solutions to our product lineup. Our new product sales focuses on pressure relief safety devices and systems –from a variety of safety valves to magne-trac liquid level indicators. We are able to service and repair the complete life cycle of our customer’s pressure relief systems –from initial design, evaluation of existing systems, supply of new safety relief devices, and repair of existing devices.
