Rs-111 Handheld Gamma-Ray Scintillometer from Terraplus Inc.

The RS-111 is auto-stabilized on thenaturally occurring (K, U, & Th) radioactivity and does notrequire any test sources. The small size and its light weight togetherwith the balanced handle and single thumb button, allows easy onehanded operation. The single ON/OFF button also allows easy set up of alimited number of working parameters.

The RS-111 features a large numeric LCD display showing actualcounts per second (cps). For eyes-free operation the unit has a loudvariable pitch audio tone, proportional to the intensity of the gammaradiation detected. The threshold for audio indication is adjustablemanually or automatically to compensate for local backgroundinterference. The audio indication can be switched off if required.
