Founded in 1993 by our President, Mr. Carl Freeman, Sensor Research and Development Corporation (SRD) has established itself as a premier solid-state chemical gas sensor research and development (R&D) source for the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security and Energy.

SRD utilizes semi-conducting metal oxides (SMO) and sophisticated algorithms to provide real-time, highly selective and sensitive detectors for a broad range of chemical agents, toxic industrial chemicals and explosives. Applications of our technology include flue gas monitoring, handheld detectors for warfare agents, facility monitors, food safety and security, and collective and personal protection monitors.
