Stevenson Reeves Ltd is a world class manufacturer of hydrometers for all industrial, laboratory, and home uses. We also distribute thermometers and other sundries for the Brewing, Distilling and Soft Drinks industries. The business was started in 1805 and specialised in manufacturing measuring instruments for the brewing and distilling industry. For over 200 years we have been manufacturing instruments of the highest quality, and now supply many industries around the world.

We Have Moved!

After 67 years in our Potterrow address in the centre of Edinburgh, we have moved to a location near to the city bypass.

Haldanes Cooperage Equipment

We are pleased to announce that we have now taken over the supply of Haldane bond, cooperage and distillery tools and equipment. This includes a full range of traditional cooper's tools, as well as various supplies for bonded warehouses and distilleries.
