The Series 46 X capacitive transmitters available from Keller UK are integrated with the µP-electronics of the digital Series 30 pressure transmitters and features a ceramic measuring cell for low pressure ranges.
With the help of a polynomial compensation, the signal values of the temperature and pressure sensors are measured. Users can display and store the values on a personal computer and these values can be reprogrammed. The cable is equipped with a reference tube which links the sensor’s referential chamber to the ambient pressure.
Keller also offers an intrinsically safe version of pressure transmitter called Series 46 X Ei. The instrument can be employed in explosion-exposed environment where categories 1 and 2 are needed.
