Viper - Hyperspectral VIS Photometer by TriOS

The VIPER hyperspectral VIS photometer is offered in four versions having an optical path length of 50, 100, 150 and 250 mm making it suitable for a number of applications in a range of water matrices. VIPER determines hyperspectral attenuation data in the range from 360 to 750 nm for colour measurements, satellite validation, water quality monitoring, and biogeochemical applications.

LEDs are economical and energy-saving as a light source. This is an integrated temperature sensor for monitoring the medium temperature grants temperature compensated data. Similar to TriOS sensors, the optical windows of VIPER have a nano-coating against fouling and can be combined in the modular system of software, controllers or power supplies from TriOS. Several calibrations such as APHA-Hazen (Pt-Co) and Saybolt for colour measurements are available, as well as standard parameters such as SAC436.
