The intense light that the welding process creates “blinds” the eye and conventional camera systems. It is hard to properly visually monitor a welding process without the use of specialized visualization techniques.
With the use of Cavitar Welding Cameras, welding processes can be clearly seen as though they were cold. The offerings range from fully equipped, portable visualization solutions with cameras, integrated laser light, and optics to highly adaptable systems to satisfy particular customer needs.
They can be used for all common arc welding techniques like GMAW (MIG, MAG), TIG, and all common beam welding techniques like CO2, fiber, diode, and Nd:YAG lasers, as well as electron beam applications.
