In addition to supporting link speeds of 1, 2.5, and 5 GigE, the Forge has a burst mode that can capture images at speeds of up to 10 Gb/s into memory. This, combined with a 500 MB image buffer, enables engineers to manage data transfer without overwhelming the host.
