MapTun Performance is now a full service facility for serious Saabtuning. Instead of hiring subcontractors where quality, delivery times and the possibilities for special adaptation rarely meet our and our customers' high demands, we nowadays make most "in house". We offer everything from simple engine renovations to very advanced special buildings where both the bottom part, top and gearbox are fully customized to the customer's unique needs. We now have a fully equipped workshop facility where we carry out everything from simple service work to complete renovations, incl. engine and transmission changes and site-built special solutions. The workshop operations are not the MapTun Performance main job, but a prerequisite for being able to provide professional and high quality tuning by Saab. Our daily work with modern Saabar, however, means that we can do these cars before and without, often in a way that a brand workshop that is only occasionally faced with some of the troubleshooting situations that we almost daily work with cannot match. In addition to fresh premises, personal care and a constant ambition to give our customers that little extra, we have a hard-to-beat technical expertise and knowledge of Saab.

Our history

MapTun has since its inception developed from a small company, specializing in the development of upgraded software for Saab, to today be a full service company in tuning. Sales have increased dramatically in recent years, which has enabled investments in premises, technical equipment and competent personnel. In addition to market-leading software, we currently offer everything from workshop services to advanced engine buildings, gearboxes and a complete range of hardware components for a number of car brands. Over the past two years, we have devoted much time to the development of upgrading Saab's revolutionary BioPower models, as well as post-conversion of newer Saabar to ethanol operation. With the expertise we currently possess in ethanol trimming, we do not draw ourselves to call ourselves "MapTun - the ethanol specialist"!

Research & Development

Over the years, our discerning customers have become accustomed to our software delivering market-leading performance, drivability and reliability. The reason for this is simple, we spend countless hours on research, testing, measurement and evaluation. Unlike many of our competitors, we not only develop all our software ourselves. We also develop our own interfaces to modify the car's software rather than use the purchased tuning tools that most of our competitors do. At MapTun, we simply do not believe in taking shortcuts. We know that our company's success and the value of our brand depends on our ability to exceed our customers' highest expectations, not just in terms of performance but in all respects!
