The Safety IntelliPoint from Drexelbrook is the most complete and adaptable point level switch for liquids, slurries, granulars, and interface applications. To install, simply mount the sensor in your vessel and connect the power.

It meets title 49 part 195 DOT and API 2350 regulations and is perfect for applications with safety related systems that require functional safety for SIL2 in accordance to IEC61508-2, ed2, 2010(EXIDA).

There is no need for constant checking of functionality as the self-test function of the Safety IntelliPoint level switch is always monitoring and regulating the system. If there is a problem that cannot be fixed automatically, it will be detected by the AutoVerify function, where a self-check circuit is monitoring the complete system continuously to verify it is functioning properly. Once the problem is located, a signal will be sent from the device to the personnel to notify them of the issue.

Both of these functions can be checked via the manual Certify to make sure they are working correctly.
