SPN1 Solar Radiation Pyranometer

Delta-T Devices offers SPN1 Solar Radiation Pyranometer, a meteorological class solar radiation measurement device designed for prolonged outdoor exposure.

The pyranometer featuring an integrated heater is an economical and efficient replacement to shade-ring pyranometers, pyrheliometers and conventional sunshine recorders.

This product is user-friendly, does not require routine adjustment or polar alignment, and can operate at any latitude. The pyranometer dome is free from snow, ice, and dew even at temperatures down to -20 °C thanks to the built-in heater. This, in turn, ensures reliable readings even in challenging climatic conditions.

With a novel computer-generated shading pattern, the SPN1 Solar Radiation Pyranometer provides measurements of the direct and diffuse components of incident solar radiation using an array of seven miniature thermopile sensors. Moreover, it measures sunshine duration and calculates direct radiation by subtracting the diffuse components from the total radiation.
