Weir-Jones has been providing custom data collection, analytical services, and project management solutions to clients in the Resource, Civil Construction, Marine, and Defense industries since 1971. Based in Vancouver, Canada, with a satellite office in Fort McMurray, the heart of Canada’s heavy oil industry, Weir-Jones is able to provide complete system design, manufacture, and commissioning services to meet each client's specific needs.

For more than 40 years, our focus has been to provide our clients with information which relates to the wellbeing of their assets. We do this by carrying out numerical modeling or by collecting operational data, usually the latter. Sometimes these projects are long term, such as the monitoring oil and gas pipelines, offshore production platforms, and transmission towers. At other times the monitoring phases may last only a few milliseconds, as with a pipeline burst test. In all cases, our mission is to provide the client with information which enables them to operate and react with greater safety, efficiency and understanding; protecting personnel, environment and assets.
