The NTC Glass Thermistors Range from Amphenol Advanced Sensors

Amphenol Advanced Sensors has introduced a wide range of NTC glass thermistors.

Thermometrics NTC Thermistors | Glass BR Series—Glass-Encapsulated Bead

The Thermometrics BR Series of glass-encapsulated bead thermistors includes glass-encapsulated bead thermistors on platinum or alloy lead wires that have a fine diameter.

The sturdy glass encapsulation offers hermetic seal as well as more improved strain relief when compared to glass-encapsulated bead thermistors. The Thermometrics BR Series is ideal for self-heated applications, like gas flow measurement or liquid level sensing. The unit is recommended for those applications where customers will carry out additional assembly operations.

Thermometrics NTC Thermistors | Glass Diode

The Thermometrics Diode Series of glass-encapsulated NTC thermistors includes an array of NTC chip thermistors in DO-35 style glass package (diode outline). These thermistors are integrated with axial solder-coated copper-clad steel wires.

The units have been developed for precise control, temperature measurement, and compensation in numerous applications. The glass body offers hermetic seal and provides excellent stability and voltage insulation.

The Thermometrics HTP Series of NTC-type, high-temperature probes includes a bead thermistor that is hermetically sealed in the tip of a glass rod. The glass rod is shock resistant.

The units are robust and are not impacted by extreme environmental exposures. They show exceptional stability for temperatures at or below 450 °C (842 °F). Intermittent operations at temperatures of up to 600 °C (1112 °F) are permissible.

The Thermometrics Type JM of resin-coated glass-encapsulated thermistors is an array of glass-encapsulated NTC thermistors. The thermistors are housed in a resin tip, which is bonded to “figure 8” PVC lead-out wires.

The units are resistant to moisture ingress, making them suitablefor use in air-conditioning evaporators to avoid inefficiency because of icing.
