LamdaGen is a privately held Silicon Valley developer of nano-based biosensors that enable testing systems for highly sensitive and quantitative rapid diagnostics. The Company has harnessed discoveries of Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) the principles of which involve advanced physics, material science and light – and made simple its application in providing precise digital detection of biological and environmental targets for human diagnostic, companion animal, animal food stock and food & water safety.

The Company’s patented nano-structured metallic thin-films change color in response to molecular binding events occurring at their surface, thus enabling the use of a simple digital camera to precisely quantify the presence of antigens and pathogens. The integration of LamdaGen’s micron-sized sensors with miniaturized optics and digital analysis brings unprecedented mobility, speed, sensitivity and ease of use to precision diagnostics.

Headquartered in Menlo Park, California, LamdaGen licenses its L’AuRa sensor technologies on an open architecture basis to companies for integration into their existing diagnostic/detection systems and consumables, or into advanced products in development.
