Meta is a leading manufacturer of laser vision systems for welding applications worldwide. Their weld seam tracking and process control systems are widely applied throughout manufacturing. Meta's History with robot welding goes back even before the company was formed to a research project at Oxford University. The aim of the project was to develop the world's first combined guidance and inspection system for robotic welding for automotive applications. Since then, Meta has installed hundreds of systems for automotive customers and for other robot welding jobs.
